My goal with this dual sport motor bike is to get a little more closer to nature, try the path least traveled, or at least not traveled by large vehicle.

I purchased a used Honda CRF230L dual sport motor bike, one to learn how to ride, and two to be able to take it out to the mountains and ride it on the trails. I've found a few trails I didn't want to take my Jeep because it's still new, and i don't want to add pin stripping to the body just yet.

It currently runs well enough, I've changed the oil and make sure it runs nicely, however I have found that after warming up it doesn't slip in or out of gear as nicely as before. When cold I can get it going and shift gears easily, but when at operating temp the clutch is very touchy.

Upcoming project is to take apart the transmission, inspect all the plates and innards and either repair or replace anything that needs to be replaced. The bike is an awesome bike and very capable, easy to do what I ask it. It is not a fast bike or powerful, but gets the job done.
